On December 2, 2019, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) sealed a lucrative sponsorship deal with a betting firm, marking a significant milestone in the federation's efforts to grow grassroots football in Kenya.

The three-year deal, which was signed in secret, aims to identify and nurture talented young footballers across the country, providing them with opportunities to showcase their skills at the top level.

According to a source close to the matter, the sponsorship agreement will play a crucial role in spotting and developing football talent in Kenya.

"FKF and the new partners have signed a three-year deal which will target the growth of grassroots football across the country," the source revealed.
