Robert Mugabe, the former President of Zimbabwe, passed away in September this year, leaving behind a legacy of 37 years of rule. However, a recent report has revealed that Mugabe's wealth, estimated at Ksh.1.02 billion, is now at the center of a dispute over his estate.

According to a report from VOA, Mugabe's estate includes cash, 10 cars, a farm, and several homes. His daughter, Bona, had registered the estate with the High Court on behalf of the family, but lawyers are still searching for the will.

Without a will, the estate will be divided between Mugabe's former First Lady, Grace, and his four children. This has raised questions about the distribution of his vast wealth, which includes secret accounts in Switzerland, the Channel Islands, and the Bahamas, as well as castles in Scotland.

A diplomatic cable sent by the U.S. embassy in Harare and released by WikiLeaks in 2001 had indicated that Mugabe had over $1 billion worth of assets in Zimbabwe and overseas.

Below are photos of one of the mansions, a 25-bedroom house located in Harare's posh Borrowdale suburb.
