Kenyan television show 10 Over 10 has been at the center of controversy due to its explicit content, sparking outrage among critics.

Hosted by Willis Raburu, the show features young individuals dancing and performing alongside top musicians, but it's the levels of nudity displayed on the show that have raised eyebrows.

According to reports, some audience members have even jumped on stage to twerk and grind on each other, leaving many to question the show's suitability for a family audience.

Kenya Film and Classification Board (KFCB) Chairman Ezekiel Mutua has defended the show, stating that it airs outside of watershed hours and is therefore not within his jurisdiction to regulate.

However, critics argue that the show's content is still explicit and should be subject to stricter regulations.

A petition has been launched calling for the show's cancellation, with over 21,000 signatures collected so far.

The petition's organizer, Anne Kioko, was denied entry to present her petition to Royal Media Services' Managing Director, Wachira Waruru.

Business Today has revealed that most of the audience members are paid Sh 500 to attend the show, with many coming from areas such as Kayole, Umoja, and Dandora.

These individuals are then dropped off at Ambassadeur in town after the show ends, leaving them to find their way home in the early hours of the morning, often in areas with high crime rates.

Additionally, the show has been known to partner with alcohol brands, leading to concerns over the influence of alcohol on the show's content and the behavior of its audience.
