Kenya's rugby women sevens team touched down in Dubai on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, in preparation for the Invitational Women's Sevens tournament, set to take place from Thursday, December 5, to Saturday, December 7.

The team, led by captain Philadelphia Olando, held a morning pool and mobility session to get them ready for the competition.

On Thursday, December 5, they will face Tokyo Sankyu Phoenix at 12:40 pm (EAT) and France Sevens Development at 5:40 pm (EAT) in their first two matches.

On Friday, they will take on Belsevens at 12:20 pm (EAT) and Aruka Queen Kumagaya at 2:20 pm (EAT) in their final pool matches.

The team's squad for the tournament includes Philadelphia Olando (Captain), Grace Adhiambo, Stella Wafula, Christabel Lindo, Camila Cythia, Vivian Akumu, Diana Awino, Sheila Chajira, Celestine Masinde, Michelle Sianaida Omondi, Janet Okello, and Enid Ouma.
