On November 27, 2019, Pastor Ng'ang'a's Lexus LX 570 was involved in a road accident along Namanga road, sparking rumors of the pastor's sudden disappearance.
According to a Facebook post by blogger Abraham Mutai, the pastor has gone into hiding since the accident, fueling speculation about his whereabouts.
Just 12 days prior to the accident, Pastor Ng'ang'a had celebrated the arrival of his new car in a video dated November 15, 2019, praising God for gifting him with his dream vehicle.
“Receiving exclusive reports that Pastor Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism Center was last week Friday involved in an accident along Namanga road and since then he has gone into hiding or the family is hiding him,” wrote Mutai.
The vehicle, estimated to cost at least Ksh. 10 million for a second-hand model, has been at the center of controversy surrounding Pastor Ng'ang'a.
With a history of dramatic situations, including a video that caught the attention of American rapper Snoop Dog, Pastor Ng'ang'a has been involved in several high-profile incidents, including court cases and a recent threat against media personality Linus Kaikai.
Earlier this year, a vehicle belonging to the pastor was impounded at the Karen Police Station, with the pastor claiming that his Personal Assistant was driving at the time of the accident.
However, investigations revealed that the OCPD at the Karen Police Station had been bribed to cover up the case, adding to the controversy surrounding Pastor Ng'ang'a.
Notably, Pastor Ng'ang'a was acquitted of a charge of careless driving in 2015, following an accident that left one person dead at Limuru.
