Published on December 4, 2019, reports have emerged that Mauricio Pochettino, the Argentine football manager, is interested in becoming the new coach of Manchester United, not Arsenal.
Following his recent sacking at Tottenham, Pochettino has been linked with a move to join Arsenal to succeed axed Unai Emery. However, according to Manchester Evening News, the 47-year-old Argentine prefers moving to Old Trafford than the North London.
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is currently under serious pressure due to the club's poor run of results this season, which has seen them slip to ninth on the Premier League standings.
Meanwhile, Arsenal recently sacked Spaniard Unai Emery after a disappointing result this term and placed Freddie Ljungberg in charge on an interim basis.
Pochettino was initially tipped to replace Jose Mourinho last year before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer impressed during his interim reign. However, this season has not been rosy for the Norwegian, and he could be the next manager to be axed in the Premier League.
