December 4, 2019, will be a day that will be etched in the memories of many for a long time. It was the day that Valerian Njeri Ndonu, a young woman with a promising future, lost her life in a tragic and senseless act of violence.

According to reports, Valerian had borrowed a Chemistry book from a man, who then attempted to proposition her for sex when she tried to return it. When she refused, he turned violent, stabbing her to death with a knife that broke off, only to retrieve another one and continue the attack.

Kate Actress has taken to social media to express her outrage and sadness at the senseless murder, calling for justice and condemning acts of femicide in the strongest words possible.

'My heart is shattered into pieces,' Kate Actress wrote on Instagram. 'Not another soul, dear lord! We must condemn acts of FEMICIDE in the strongest words possible. We must do something! This girl did not deserve this. What have we turned into? What are we teaching our sons? They must know and respect that a NO means NO! May your precious soul rest in peace, Njeri. Calling for JUSTICE! My soul is heavy, praying for your family.'

Valerian's tragic death is a stark reminder of the need for women to be protected from violence and abuse, and for men to be held accountable for their actions. Kate Actress's words are a powerful call to action, and we must all do our part to create a society where women can live without fear of violence and abuse.
