Manchester City bounced back to winning ways with a convincing 4-1 victory over Burnley on Tuesday night, December 3, at Turf Moor.

Gabriel Jesus was the star of the show, scoring a brilliant double to inspire City to their blistering best.

The win temporarily fired City to second on the league standings with 32 points, level with Leicester who still have a match to play.

City were desperate to return to winning ways after settling for a 2-2 draw with Newcastle last weekend, which saw them slip down the league standings.

Jesus opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a peach of a finish, and doubled the advantage in the 50th minute after benefiting from Bernardo Silva's lovely whip on the right.

City continued their dominance in the second half, with Rodri putting the game beyond the hosts 18 minutes later with a ferocious volley past a helpless Pope.

Mahrez then got his name on the score-sheet three minutes to time, before Robert Brady netted a consolation for the home side soon after.
