It's been five years since Jane, a Kisumu businesswoman, had been saving to start her own boutique. Finally, she managed to use her savings of Sh. 400,000 to open her shop in Kisumu town.
However, her Christmas dreams were shattered when her shop was broken into, and all her stock stolen. The thieves left her helpless and jobless, forcing her to take her kids to her sister's place in Uasin Gishu County.
