Published on December 3, 2019, Dubai Police is looking to add Tesla's Cyber Truck to its fleet of high-end vehicles, including the Hyperloop and Jetpacks for the Dubai Firefighters.

The Cyber Truck, set to be released in 2020, has garnered over 200,000 orders since its launch, with its unique stainless steel alloy body and impressive performance capabilities making it an attractive option for law enforcement agencies.

According to CNN, Elon Musk, Tesla's CEO, claimed that the Cyber Truck's alloys provide protection against small firearms, including handguns, and that it can tow 14,000 pounds and go from zero to 60 in 2.9 seconds.

Major General Abdullahi Khalifa Al Marri, Dubai Commander in chief, stated that the Cyber Truck will enhance security presence in tourist destinations such as Burj Khalifa and Jumeirah Beach, citing its ability to carry 3,500 pounds and drive up to 500 miles on a full charge.

With its futuristic design and impressive capabilities, the Cyber Truck may be the future of security for police forces, particularly in developing countries where electric vehicles offer a more reliable and cost-effective option compared to traditional fuel-efficient vehicles.
