On Monday, Football Kenya Federation (FKF) sealed a lucrative sponsorship deal with a betting firm, marking a significant milestone for the organization.
The three-year deal aims to nurture and spot talent in the country, providing young footballers with opportunities to showcase their skills at the top level.
According to a source, the sponsorship will go a long way in promoting grassroots football across the country.
FKF CEO Barry Otieno confirmed the deal, stating that full details would be announced on Thursday.
‘It is true we have sealed another sponsorship with a betting firm, but the finer details will be made public during the signing ceremony at a Nairobi Hotel on Thursday. We are very happy that at least for now, we are attracting sponsorship which has eluded the federation for some time,’ Otieno stated.
