On December 3, 2019, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz surprised fans by marrying Queen Darleen in a secret ceremony.
The couple's union was met with congratulations from friends and family, including Diamond's mother, Sandra, who wished the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness.
"I remember waking up to your call this morning and God has indeed answered your prayers... Congratulations @queendarleen_ May your marriage be blessed with peace and happiness," Sandra wrote on social media.
Other celebrities, including Vanessa Mdee and Lava Lava, also took to social media to congratulate the couple.
"Mapenzi ni kitu kizuri. Hongera," Vanessa Mdee wrote.
"Mrs. Kicheko Mungu Awabariki Sana," Lava Lava added.
