On December 3, 2019, Impala Saracens head coach Mitch Ocholla expressed his team's determination to bounce back to winning ways when they face off with Kenya Harlequins in the Kenya Cup this weekend.
Following their upset loss to Top Fry Nakuru, where they gave away a 20-3 lead at halftime, Ocholla is confident that his team will emerge victorious in the Ngong road derby.
“Winning and losing is part of the game so for me progress is more important than results, therefore we’ll continue with our target this season and stick to our game plan,” said Ocholla.
Despite being fourth on the log with 20 points, nine points behind table-toppers Kabras Sugar, Ocholla believes that Harlequins are not underdogs in their weekends’ match.
“I don’t think there is anything poor about what Harlequins or Impala are doing but at the end of the day its all about who’s prepared well,” said the former Shujaa player.
With the weather expected to play a significant role in the outcome, Ocholla is optimistic that his team will be victorious on the day.
