Homa Bay County Officials Arrested Over Corruption Allegations

On Monday night, three Homa Bay county officials were arrested in connection with corruption allegations.

Kepha Rombe, Mary Agong, and her husband Chris Agong were taken into custody for allegedly awarding county tenders to their own companies.

According to Homa Bay County DCI boss Daniel Wachira, the trio was transported to Kisii, where the case will be handled by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.

A report from the EACC office revealed that detectives are investigating other county government officials linked to several corruption claims.
