December 3, 2019, marked the end of an era for Churchill Show as it parted ways with renowned Kenyan TV producer and music video director J Blessing.

According to sources close to Nairobi News, J Blessing had not been involved with the show for three weeks prior to his departure, sparking speculation about the reasons behind his exit.

It is alleged that J Blessing had a heated argument with the show's management, leading to a bitter split.

"Yes, the producer is gifted and none can deny that, but working with him is what has proven a mountain too high to climb," said a source.

Another source added, "J Blessing is a gifted director. All who have worked with him will tell you that. But he has issues with how he relates with people. He is petty and at times keeping up with him can be a problem."

The final straw came when J Blessing failed to show up at the Kisumu edition of Churchill Show due to a disagreement over an air ticket for his personal assistant.

"This time round the bone of contention was his personal assistant, a lady. J Blessing was scheduled to direct the Kisumu edition but bolted out after the management refused to give in to his demand and pay for an air ticket for the assistant to Kisumu," said a source.

Some have speculated that J Blessing's reaction to the situation may have been motivated by a personal relationship with his assistant.
