On the final leg of the 2019 East Africa Classic Safari rally, Austria's Kris Rosenberger emerged victorious, finishing first on Sunday evening.
Former World Rally champion Stig Blomqvist came second with a time of 6:54.27, while Kenya's Tejveer Rai and Gavin Laurence under Kabra Sugar racing team banner finished third with a time of 7:09.05.
The rally, which started at the Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort on November 27, 2019, saw drivers navigate through various stages, including a 38.50km stage between Kifaru and Mwanga in Arusha, where Blomqvist won with a time of 20.11.3.
Onkar Rai, navigated by Gareth Dawe in a Porsche 911, topped the leadership in day three with a time of 20.37.7, after finishing third in the first stage.
The rally also featured a 92km stage between Same-Mkomazi, where Onkar took over as the leader, navigating through a mixture of fast open roads with blind drifts, big brows, and fast flowing bends.
Italian crew Eugenio Amos and Roberto Mometti in a Porsche 911 won the third and final stage of the day, covering 53km between Old-Korogwe-Magozoni, with a time of 30.51.4.
