On Monday evening, around 7 pm, a Subaru Impreza driven by Stevo Simple Boy, an upcoming musician, was spotted cruising at a speed of 150 km/hr along Thika Super Highway, which has a top speed limit of 110 kilometers per hour.
According to traffic officers, the vehicle was not pursued by police but was followed from a distance, and the driver and car were eventually found in Pangani.
Stevo Simple Boy, whose real name is Steven Otieno, risks being fined for over speeding and losing his license for six months.
The musician, who made headlines with his song 'Mihadarati,' has been open about his struggles as a young man from Kibera, working multiple jobs to make ends meet.
