On November 19, three friends embarked on an adventure to explore the Australian outback near Alice Springs. However, their journey took a dramatic turn when their car became stuck in a river bed.

After three days of waiting for rescue, the group's supplies were dwindling, and two of them decided to walk along a property fence line in search of help. Their ordeal lasted for two weeks, with the trio facing dehydration and harsh conditions.

On Sunday, Tamra McBeath-Riley, 52, was found less than two kilometers from the vehicle, suffering from dehydration. She credited pre-mixed vodka drinks and water from a hole dug for cattle as a vital source of sustenance during their ordeal.

However, the third member of the group, 46-year-old Claire Hockridge, has not been seen since splitting from Phu Tran two days ago. Police are now focusing their search efforts to locate her, with hopes that she is still in good condition.

Police Superintendent Pauline Vicary expressed optimism about Hockridge's situation, stating, "She was still fine when he left but we obviously are now focusing our search to identify where she is."

McBeath-Riley and Hockridge are residents of Alice Springs, while Phu Tran was visiting from elsewhere in Australia.
