Golf: 97 Golfers Miss-Out on Hole-in-One Car Prize

On November 30, 2019, the Windsor Motors Golf day took place at the Windsor Golf and Country Club, attracting a field of 97 golfers.

Among the participants was Alex Mwangi, who emerged the overall winner with a compact score of 41 stableford points.

Playing off a handicap of 15, Mwangi carded 25 stableford points from the front nine and an additional 16 points from the back nine to claim the top honors.

The event, presented by motor dealer Windsor Motors, was played on stableford format off full handicap.

Other notable winners included Kamau Thuge, who came in second with a score of 40 stableford points, and Mike Macharia, who took third place with 38 stableford points.

In the ladies' category, Rahab Karoki emerged victorious with a sterling score of 47 stableford points.

Sam Kairu, a golfer from Karen Golf and Country Club, won the Guest category with a superb score of 43 stableford points.

The event also featured prizes for the longest drive, with Anthony Njoroge claiming the men's prize and Joyce Wanjiru taking the ladies' title.
