Manchester United are eyeing a potential transfer for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, who is believed to be frustrated with his limited playing time at the Spanish club.
According to a report from FcInterNews, United have made contact with Vidal's agent, Fernando Felicevich, in a bid to secure the Chilean midfielder's services in January.
United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has a good working relationship with Felicevich, having worked with him on the transfer that took Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan from Old Trafford.
United are hoping that this relationship will ease the way for Vidal to join them for around £13million, with the club looking to strengthen their midfield options in the January transfer window.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been left with limited options in midfield following injuries to Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay, and Nemanja Matic could also be on his way out of the club in January.
Inter Milan are also reportedly interested in Vidal, who would be reunited with Antonio Conte, who managed him during his time at Juventus.
