Media personality Mwanaisha Chidzuga has spoken out about her departure from Media Max, stating that her contract had ended on November 1, 2015, and she had chosen not to renew it.

Speaking at the Kalasha Awards, where she presented the Best Actor in a film category, Chidzuga emphasized that her decision to leave Media Max was not a result of being fired, but rather a personal choice to pursue other opportunities.

"My contract ended on the 1st of November and it was for four years from 2015. I had a decision to renew it or not. So I had already made a decision not to. It’s just a matter of time. For me, life has to go on. There is more to life than just TV. I mean, there is the Internet, Youtube, all these things."

Chidzuga also announced her plans to launch a new YouTube channel, 'Dada to Dada uncensored', which will focus on women empowerment, motivation, mentorship, and entrepreneurship.

She expressed her optimism for the future, stating that 2020 will be an amazing year for Kenyan women.

Chidzuga's comments come as she continues to pursue her business ventures, including her hospitality business, which she says is doing well.
