Published on December 2, 2019, the Premier League table saw Liverpool firmly hold onto their first position following their hard-earned victory over Brighton.

Leicester City recorded their sixth straight league win and moved within eight points behind Liverpool, as the Foxes came from behind to beat Everton by 2-1, with Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho canceling out Richarlison's early strike.

Meanwhile, West Ham earned all three points against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, with Aaron Cresswell's goal proving decisive as the Blues remained in the top four.

Jose Mourinho's return to Tottenham sparked a turnaround in fortunes for the North London side, who moved to fifth on the log after recording a 3-2 win over Bournemouth in his first league home game.

Sheffield United held Wolves at the Molineux in a 1-1 draw, while Arsenal's poor start to the season continued with a 2-2 draw against Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Man United also recorded a disappointing result, as Aston Villa gave them a run for their money in a classic 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.

Finally, Southampton came from a goal down to beat Watford at St.Mary's, ensuring Qique Sanchez Flores' sack.
