On November 30th, 2019, the Kalasha TV and Film Awards 2019 took place at the Safari Park hotel in Nairobi, bringing together Kenya's top acting talent.
Actress Nyce Wanjeri was crowned the Best Lead Actress in a TV Drama, while Sarah Hassan emerged as the Best Lead Actress in a Film category winner. Neomi Ngángá won the Best Supporting Actress award, and Pascal Tokodi took home the Best Lead Actor in TV drama award.
Out of 170 nominees from 32 categories, the winners were selected between August 20th and October 20th, 2019.
The event was a fashion spectacle, with attendees showcasing their unique styles. Some of the notable attendees included Sarah Hassan, Nyce Wanjeri, Mwanaisha Chidzuga, Esther Passaris, and Joyce Omondi.
