Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to rule out a move for Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, who scored a stunning goal in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on December 2, 2019.
Grealish's impressive performance has sparked further speculation about his potential transfer to Manchester United, with Solskjaer keen to continue his strategy of bringing in young British talent.
When asked about his interest in Grealish, Solskjaer remained coy, saying, "I can't talk too much about other teams' players if they're Man United caliber or targets."
However, he did praise Grealish's goal, saying, "But fantastic goal, I think he hit one of them corners I hit a couple of times."
Manchester United's interest in Grealish comes as the England international continues to impress with Aston Villa, with his excellent form leading to calls for him to be included in Gareth Southgate's squad for Euro 2020.
Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has also suggested that Grealish's performances are making it difficult for England to ignore him, saying, "All Jack can control are his performances and if he keeps performing the way he is, he puts more pressure on the people choosing those squads."
