Published on December 2, 2019, Man United's draw with Aston Villa has left the team sitting six points above the drop zone, marking the club's worst start to a top flight season in three decades.

However, Solskjaer has moved to allay fears of any concerns regarding the table standings, stating that the league table is not the biggest concern due to its current tightness.

Speaking after the Villa clash, Solskjaer said, "The league table at this point is not the biggest concern because it is so tight," and continued, "I would have sat here talking about being fifth if we’d got the one extra goal. So the league table is not the biggest concern."

With the Red Devils now sitting ninth on the log with 18 points, Solskjaer needs to win his next three games to have a better record than his predecessor, Jose Mourinho, when he was sacked a year ago this month.

The Old Trafford dwellers are scheduled to take on Spurs, Man City, and struggling Everton in their next three league fixtures.
