Award-winning Kenyan singer Akothee made headlines on Saturday night after collapsing on stage while performing at a prestigious Luo night in Kisumu.
Just last week, Akothee was admitted to the hospital for five days, where doctors revealed that she was fatigued and unable to complete her performance.
Despite her recent health issues, Akothee gave a splendid performance at the Luo festival, but unfortunately, she passed out at around 1 am before finishing her set.
According to her manager, Nelly Oaks, Akothee is currently resting due to continuous fatigue since her hospital discharge last week.
A viral video of the incident has been making rounds on social media, showing Akothee seemingly lively and performing vibrantly in a white outfit before suddenly collapsing in the arms of her backup dancers.
