On December 2, 2019, Luo Festival attendees witnessed a shocking moment when singer Esther Akoth, known as Akothee, lost consciousness on stage.
Just two days prior, Akothee had been discharged from Karen Hospital after being treated for flu and fatigue.
Earlier that day, Akothee was seen mingling with fans in Kisumu and even shopped for them at Tuskys United Mall.
However, her visit to the supermarket caused a commotion, prompting Akothee to apologize to the management, saying, "I am sorry for the supermarkets, the manager of the supermarket panicked, little did he know I was peeing on my panties, when the supermarket turned into Akothee's fan base."
