Former TV journalist Jacque Maribe has been enjoying her newfound freedom, celebrating her release from the shadows. The mother of one, who had been hesitant to show her face to the public, has finally decided to come out of her shell.

On November 29, Maribe joined her former colleague Hussein Mugambi at the Sands Kilimani Club for a night of karaoke.

As seen in a video posted on Instagram by Urbannews254, Maribe was seen wearing a red dress and black heels, belting out the lyrics to Ali Kiba's hit song 'Aje'.

Her colleague Hassan also took the stage to sing the same song, but he soon found himself struggling to keep up with Maribe's powerful vocals.

Despite his initial struggles, Hassan eventually found his rhythm and began to rap, much to the delight of the audience.

Maribe's appearance marked her first public outing since she was accused of being involved in the murder of Monica Kimani. She has since denied any involvement in the crime and has been open about her struggles with mental health.
