Watford has parted ways with Quique Sanchez Flores, ending his second stint as manager after a mere 85 days.

The Spanish coach's tenure was marked by a dismal record, with only two wins in 12 matches across all competitions.

His departure comes as no surprise, given the team's struggles at the bottom of the Premier League table, with just eight points in 14 matches since the start of the 2019-20 season.

According to reports, former Brighton boss Chris Hughton is expected to take over at Vicarage Road, with Watford looking to turn their fortunes around.

Under Flores, the team managed only one win in ten Premier League matches, including a 2-1 defeat to Southampton at St. Mary's.

His only other victory in his 12 matches at the club was against Swansea in the Carabao Cup.

Flores is now the third manager to lose his job in the English topflight division this season, following Mauricio Pochettino and Unai Emery.
