Kenya Breweries Limited's Johnnie Walker Golf series continued at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on December 1, 2019, with John Evans emerging as the winner of the round.
Evans carded a stableford total of 35 points to claim the top spot, while Jawad Jaffer finished second with 33 points after beating Reagan Kibugu on countback. The wet conditions caused by torrential rains made the competition challenging.
In the ladies' category, Sunita Nathoo took the title with a stableford total of 35 points, while Sheila Mauladad was the runner-up with 32 points.
Kenya Breweries Limited Managing Director Jane Karuku reiterated the company's commitment to supporting sports in the country, highlighting the importance of the Johnnie Walker Golf series.
"We are proud to be associated with golf as a premier sport activity," said Jane Karuku. "The 2019 Johnnie Walker Golf series will provide a good opportunity for golfers to interact with our brand and promote golf tourism."
The Johnnie Walker Golf series will continue at various locations in Kenya, including Thika Sports Club, Muthaiga, Sigona, Limuru, and Nakuru, before concluding at Vet Lab Sports Club in March.
