Heavy Rains Flood Nairobi, MP Shah and Aga Khan Hospitals ¶
On November 30, 2019, heavy rains caused widespread flooding in Nairobi, leaving several roads, homes, and hospitals underwater.
Residents took to social media to share photos and videos of the floods in various parts of the city.
Even major health centers like MP Shah and Aga Khan Hospitals were not spared, with the latter's floodwaters prompting a call for patients to be evacuated.

Janitors at the hospitals were forced to find a way to drain the contaminated water out as quickly as possible.
In Kilimani, floodwaters broke walls along Likoni Lane off Dennis Pritt Road and stormed into residents' homes.
The Kenya Meteorological Department had warned Kenyans to brace themselves for more heavy rainfall in the coming days, with predictions of heavy rains in Nairobi, Narok, Nakuru, Migori, and Kisumu.
