On November 30, 2019, the draw for the Euro 2020 group stage, to be played from June 12-July 12, was made in Bucharest.
The draw determined the group stage teams as follows:
- Winner of play-off Path D or Romania, if they qualify, will host their home games in Bucharest.
- Winner of play-off Path C will be in the group.
- Winner of play-off Path B will be in the group.
- Winner of play-off Path A or Path D, if Romania wins Path A, will be in the group.
- The remaining four teams will qualify through the Uefa Nations League play-offs in March.
