Chelsea's Premier League woes continued on November 30, 2019, as they suffered a 1-0 home defeat to West Ham, marking their second successive loss in the league.
The Blues started strongly, with Christian Pulisic's header in the 10th minute narrowly missing the target, and Reece James' cross hitting the woodwork in the 22nd minute.
However, despite their bright start, Chelsea failed to capitalize on their chances, and it was West Ham who took the lead just three minutes into the second half through Aaron Cresswell's brilliant curling shot.
West Ham thought they had scored their second goal when Michail Antonio bundled the ball into the net, but the strike was ruled out by VAR after the ball was deemed to have touched his hand.
Chelsea made a double change, introducing Willian and Kante, but the team struggled to create clear-cut chances, and West Ham held on to claim a vital three points.
The defeat marked Chelsea's first back-to-back Premier League loss since January, and it will be a concern for manager Frank Lampard as he looks to turn the team's fortunes around.
