On a thrilling Saturday, November 30, 2019, AFC Leopards battled to a 2-2 draw against hosts Nzoia Sugar in a Kenyan Premier League match played at Mumias Sports Complex.

Nzoia Sugar took an early lead, with Thomas Wainaina scoring in the sixth minute after capitalizing on a defence lapse. The hosts maintained their lead until the 33rd minute, when Boniface Mukhekhe equalized for AFC Leopards after capitalizing on a re-bound ball from Nzoia keeper Benson Mangala.

However, Nzoia Sugar regained the lead in the 44th minute, courtesy of Abraham Kipkogei, who was put through by Kevin Juma. The match remained intense, with both teams creating scoring opportunities.

After half-time, AFC Leopards came into play a more refined side, and Austine Otieno pulled the equalizer in the 55th minute following a superb pass from Vincent Oburu. The match ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw, with both coaches making substitutions in the second half.
