On November 30, 2019, Nation Sport exclusively revealed that Kenyan international Erick 'Marcelo' Ouma had joined Swedish top division side AIK.
According to the agreement, Ouma will be with AIK for the next five years, with his pre-season training expected to begin in early January 2020.
Before making the move to AIK, Ouma played for third division side IF Vasalund.
Known for his pace and dribbling skills, Ouma rose to prominence in 2016 after Gor Mahia secured his services, earning him the title of young best player in his maiden season with the team.
He launched his professional career the following year, joining FC Kolkheti Poti of Georgia, where he was later joined by Amos Nondi and James Macharia, previously of Gor and Tusker respectively.
