On November 30, 2019, Nation Sport exclusively revealed that Kenyan international Erick 'Marcelo' Ouma had joined Swedish top division side AIK.
According to the agreement, Ouma has signed a five-year deal and is expected to report for pre-season in early January 2020.
Leaving behind third division side IF Vasalund, Ouma is known for his pace and dribbling skills, which earned him recognition as the young best player in his maiden season with Gor Mahia in 2016.
Having launched his professional career in 2017 with FC Kolkheti Poti of Georgia, Ouma was later joined by Amos Nondi and James Macharia, both previously of Gor and Tusker respectively.
