Published on November 29, 2019, Liverpool's Premier League title hopes have been dealt a significant blow with the news that star midfielder Fabinho will be out of action until 2020.
The Brazilian footballer sustained the injury during Liverpool's Champions League match against Napoli on November 27.
According to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, Fabinho will miss the Christmas fixtures and will require a significant period of rehabilitation before returning to action.
'It looks pretty sure that he will not be involved in the Christmas fixtures. It will obviously take a while,' Klopp explained.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will face Brighton in their next Premier League match, and Klopp is also awaiting the final results on Joel Matip, who is struggling to recover from a knee injury.
