Deputy President William Ruto has been on the receiving end of numerous embarrassments within the Jubilee government, with some of his closest allies speaking out against the perceived injustices.

According to sources, the recent BBI launch at the Bomas of Kenya saw Ruto's allies being deliberately left out of the event, with some even being locked out of the meeting.

Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen was among those who expressed his outrage, accusing the Master of Ceremony, Junet Mohamed, of being openly biased and playing politics at the event.

Itumbi, who is a Digital Strategist based at State House, has been vocal in his criticism of what he terms as 'System Prefects', with Interior CS Karanja Kibicho being a frequent target of his attacks.

During the BBI launch, Itumbi found himself on the receiving end when he was hounded off the presidential dias, an occurrence that has earned him scorn and sympathy in equal measure from Kenya's ever active online community.

Itumbi took to Twitter to console Ruto, tweeting 'Humiliation precedes elevation.' – Sunday Adelaja. They slapped President Moi when he was VP on his way to be President. Self-declared 'SYSTEM' Prefects! BULLIES, win only when they face COWARDS! Tutawaombea..
