Published on November 29, 2019, Victor Wanyama, the Harambee Stars captain and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, has made a generous offer to two bright but needy students in Kenya.

Wanyama's foundation, the Victor Wanyama Foundation, will provide full scholarships to the students, a boy and a girl, who recently sat the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and scored 400 marks and above.

The foundation, which will be located in Wanyama's home county of Busia, aims to nurture artistic and sporting talents of its students while providing a pathway for academic excellence.

According to the foundation's website, the facility will target youths aged 11 years and above from all over the country, with the main aim of revolutionizing sports training and education while providing key sporting infrastructure.

The long-term vision of the foundation is the construction of an ultra-modern sports complex, built to international standards, which will have both indoor and outdoor sporting arenas.

Wanyama's foundation is doing great work in supporting individuals who need aid.
