Rayvanny, a Tanzanian musician, has denied allegations that he split with his mother-in-law Fahyma to gain fame.
Speaking to Wasafi FM on November 26, Rayvanny, who is signed to WCB, said he was not aware of any attempts to gain fame through the split.
"I don't know anything about this. I live my life. When I make music, my fans receive it well," Rayvanny said.
There were earlier claims that Rayvanny was seeking to gain fame by splitting with Fahyma, but the musician has denied these allegations.
However, Fahyma has refused to comment on the split, saying that she does not know if it is the right time to discuss the issue.
"I don't know if this is the right time to talk about it. When I know the truth, I will speak," Fahyma said.
Rayvanny and Fahyma have been separated for some time, with the musician being in a relationship with a video vixen named Nana.
