On November 27th, 2019, Digitalk Africa announced its list of Top 25 Women in Digital 2019, recognizing Kenyan women who have made a significant impact on the growth and use of digital platforms.

Among the notable women recognized in this list is Julian Kamau, Citizen Journalism Editor and Social Media Team Leader at Standard Media Group PLC. She has been at the forefront of digital media, promoting internal and external brands, and doing media buying.

According to Digitalk, Julian has a passion for media and communications, with a special interest in Africa development, health, women, and children's content. She has been instrumental in creating content on news and current affairs, health, entertainment, and curating user-generated content.

Julian leads a team of 11 sub-editors, product development, digital strategy, and search engine optimization. She is also conversant with the use of analytical tools to monitor, analyze, and improve website traffic and brand visibility.

She is joined in the list by other notable women, including Kenya Airways Digital Marketing Manager Hariet Luyai, Safaricom's Chief Customer Officer Sylvia Mulinge, Human Rights Defender Wanjeri Nderu, and popular online content creator Chebet Ronoh.

Women in digital acknowledges leading industry trendsetters who have had exceptional growth in the digital space and have made tremendous contributions to industry and community growth.
