Jose Mourinho's Tottenham tenure has gotten off to a winning start, but it's not all smooth sailing for the Portuguese manager. In a Champions League match against Olympiacos, Mourinho publicly apologized to midfielder Eric Dier for substituting him just 29 minutes into the game.

The decision to substitute Dier, who has reportedly not excelled under Mourinho, was made in an effort to spark a second-half comeback. The move paid off, as Tottenham went on to win the match and secure a spot in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

However, the future of another Tottenham player, Victor Wanyama, remains uncertain. The Harambee captain has made just three appearances for the London club this season and has fallen out of favor with manager Mourinho.

Wanyama's luck hasn't changed with the arrival of Mourinho, and he was left out of the matchday squad for Tottenham's win over West Ham and their Champions League victory over Olympiacos.

But Wanyama may have a chance to revive his career with his former club Celtic, who are interested in signing him. Celtic manager Neil Lennon expressed interest in Wanyama, saying, "(We're looking) for a player like Wanyama, it's about availability.'"

However, Lennon also noted that the club may not be looking to add to their midfield, and instead may focus on strengthening their forward line.
