On November 29, 2019, a tragic incident occurred in Naivasha, where a 17-year-old boy was arrested for stabbing a 16-year-old girl to death.
The victim, a Form Two student identified as Valerie Njeri, was found lifeless with ten stab wounds on her body, which was also found to be naked.
According to Naivasha sub-county police boss Samuel Waweru, the suspect was taken into custody after the incident.
The deceased's body has been moved to Naivasha hospital mortuary for a post-mortem examination.
Police reports indicate that the incident occurred in Mirera estate, where the suspect allegedly attacked the victim after she rejected his sexual advances.
