On November 29, 2019, a tragic incident shook the quiet town of Naivasha when a 16-year-old girl was found lifeless on a road in Mirera estate.
According to police, the girl, a Form Two student, had been stabbed multiple times and was found naked with between 10 and 20 stab wounds on her body.
The alleged perpetrator, a 17-year-old Form Three student, was arrested at the scene and is currently in police custody.
Her body has been moved to Naivasha hospital mortuary where a post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
