Leicester City's new training grounds have been blessed by Buddhist monks in a unique ceremony, marking a significant boost for the team's fortunes.
According to reports, the ceremony took place at the club's new training complex, which is set to open in the lead up to the 2020/2021 campaign.
Leicester City chairman Aiyawatt 'Top' Srivaddhanaprabha, a practicing Buddhist, was in attendance, along with squad players and manager Brendan Rodgers.
The ceremony involved the scattering of flowers and coins, as well as the tying of a ribbon to a steel work.
Leicester City have been in superb form this season under Rodgers, winning their past five matches and currently sitting second in the Premier League, behind runaway leaders Liverpool.
The team will look to continue their winning streak when they welcome Everton in a crunching Premier League fixture on Sunday, December 1.
