Joseph Irungu, a suspect in a high-profile murder case, has reactivated his Instagram account after over a year of inactivity.
The account, which had gained significant popularity before his arrest, has been updated with a new photo of Irungu and an unidentified woman.
However, in a surprising move, Irungu has deleted all photos of his ex-fiancée, Jacque Maribe, from his account.
It is still unclear whether Irungu himself is currently running the account or someone else is doing it on his behalf.
Irungu's bail application hearing was pushed to February 13th, 2020, by Justice James Wakiaga, dealing a blow to his hopes of freedom.
Followers of Irungu, who had become a popular public figure on the platform, were quick to notice the changes to his account.
