On a traditional wedding ceremony a few months ago, Anne Mumbi Waiguru walked down the aisle into the arms of lawyer Kamotho Waiganjo. It was there that we got to meet her three sons, Ron Wabu, Ian, and Don Waiguru.
Among her sons, Ian has made a name for himself in the tech world. He owns a company called Something Inc, which is involved in branding electronics such as computers, mobile phones, laptops, and power banks.
According to Anne, her 19-year-old son started an IT business without her help. In an interview with NTV News Anchor Larry Madowo on The Trend, Ian revealed that he got involved in the business because his mother told him he needed to do something with his life.
Anne encouraged Ian to start doing something instead of sitting at home watching TV. Before she knew it, he had organized an IT forum and didn't let her talk at the event.
