Kenyan musician Nviiri the Story Teller has found himself smitten with Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu after she posted a video of herself dancing to his hit song Pombe Sigara on Instagram.
Published on November 29, 2019, the video has left Nviiri over the moon, with the Sol Generation singer commenting below it: 'Huyo mimi hadi dar?????'
Wema Sepetu uploaded the video about one week ago, coincidentally around the time Nviiri was about to travel to Tanzania for a media tour.
Reposting the video on his page, Nviiri sent a message to Wema Sepetu: '@wemasepetu ❤nikama ulijua nimebook tikiti ya weekendi… mimi kijana najua kuperform.'
Speaking to journalists in Tanzania, Nviiri expressed his gratitude to Wema Sepetu for sharing his music, saying he even considered sliding into her DMs.
‘Ametambua mziki na pia mimi nimemtambua. Big shout-out, I appreciate that she shared the music and that means a lot,’ Nviiri said.
He noted that he is ‘very single’ and added: ‘It depends on who is asking but I’m not in a relationship.’
