On November 27, 2019, a Kenyan woman was arrested in Kennesaw, Georgia, after driving drunk and crashing her car.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 41-year-old Rachel Michuki of Kennesaw was involved in a crash on George Busbee Parkway between 9:20 am and 9:50 am.
Police officers who arrived at the scene reported that Ms. Michuki had bloodshot and watery eyes, and she failed an alcohol test.
Ms. Michuki allegedly offered cash to an officer in exchange for not being arrested, saying the first officer “can’t do it alone,” according to Cobb County arrest warrants.
She was booked into the Cobb County jail on charges of bribery, serious injury by vehicle, DUI, and failure to yield, and was released the following day on an $8,470 bond.
