Goby Revolutionizes Holiday Shopping in Kenya

As the holiday shopping season heats up, a new e-commerce experience has rolled out in Kenya, offering a platform for local entrepreneurs to sell their products and for customers to find good deals on various items.

Launched over the last few days, Goby is now available to all Kenyans to try out.

For local entrepreneurs, Goby offers a mobile-centred experience, where they can enlist their business on the platform via the Goby app, available on the Google Play Store.

The app's backend incorporates an order management system, making it easy for sellers to handle orders, view revenue, and communicate with customers.

There is a Kshs 300 per month fee for sellers to take care of their online store's hosting, which can be settled through the 'License Payments' tab in the app via M-Pesa.

For customers, Goby offers a seamless shopping experience, where they can use a browser of their choice on a device of their choice to sample items, check out, and pay via mobile money (M-Pesa).

With Goby, customers can find good deals on various items, and sellers can reach a wider audience, making it a win-win for both parties.

As the holiday shopping season continues, Goby is set to revolutionize the way people shop and sell in Kenya.
